Meet Dr. Tonya Mealor-Kendrick

I was born in the bluegrass state of Kentucky; in Hopkinsville on an army base. I moved to Huntersville upon graduation in 2001. When I was little my favorite toy was a Play-Doh Drill-n-Fill and I carried it around with me all the time. When I made the choice to become a dentist I started working in general dentistry, then I soon started working with underprivileged children in clinics all around Charlotte. I became passionate about the oral health of children.

I am an absolute football fanatic who loves gardening, decorating, fishing, and jigsaw puzzles. I oddly enough though do not have a favorite color.
